BENEFITS

jQuery UI Tabs - Vertical Tabs functionality

Virtual Meetings

Virtual meetings are the third Friday of the month. We alternate between morning and noon meetings. There is no meeting in December. Morning meetings begin at 8:30am and noon meetings begin at 12pm. There is no charge for virtual meetings (members-only). Meeting announcements are posted on the website and sent to each member monthly. Guests are welcome. There is a $10 per Guest meeting fee.

Job Posts

All job posts that come into the network from posted jobs are shared with all members. A member may apply for any position directly to the employer. In order to maintain the network's level of professionalism, we ask that you be prepared to provide supporting material upon request. Such as a professional website, certifications, references or a resume.

Networking

Networking - In person and virtual meetings offer the benefit of collaboration, new perspectives and ideas. Whether connecting with like-minded professionals or learning from them, this interaction is a welcome reprieve and often rejuvenates in unexpected ways.

Resources/Networking

All virtual meetings are recorded and posted to a members-only resource page. Any other supporting material shared by our presenters are also posted. Mentoring could be available to any member who seeks to dive deeper into professional bookkeeping. Often, MBN has long-time members who are willing to work with, or even hire, a newcomer to the field. Mentoring is encouraged on both sides, to mentor and to request being mentored.

Annual Dues

Annual dues are $125 per year. Your membership begins when you join. Please note: Membership is in the name of one person, it does not include employees, family members, co-workers, organizations or businesses. Non-members and guests are always welcome at meetings.

Application and Payment

To become a member please click the Become A Member link. After completing the application and paying dues, you will gain permission to post your own professional listing on this website, access resource material and other benefits listed.
