Since the pandemic, work has transformed in unparalleled ways. For many of us, work is no longer a physical place we go to, and interactions that used to take place in person are being rapidly digitized with many office workers turning their homes into workspaces. Time is more fragmented—split between work and personal responsibilities—and human connections are more difficult than ever to establish and maintain. One business solution is Google Workspace (formerly Gsuite), a suite of productivity apps including Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and many more. As a serious alternative to Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace is becoming the platform of choice for employees and customers as they return to the office, continue to work from home, or connect with each other through a mobile device. In this session we will explore some of the best ways to create, communicate and collaborate using Google Workspace.

We are privileged to have Ken Dickinson join us this month. Ken has spent the past 32 years as the owner and operator of a Corporate and Local Government Computer Training Center and offers classes on the most popular applications for Windows, Macintosh, and Chromebook. These include Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, Web Design, Accounting, Cloud based storage and Remote learning competencies. Prior to this, Ken has had a thriving career in the computer sciences and is responsible for the development of the Infostar Database System and the Planstar Financial Spreadsheet.
