John Morre

January 15th, 2021 @ noon

John will presentation will be substantially about the new California prop 19.  It will have a significant impact on family members who own California real estate as it will greatly restrict the preservation of the property tax base on the transfer of property to children. He may also address 1099 forms and PPP loans if time allows.

John Morre is Managing Partner of Morre & Company, LLP.  He is a Certified Public Accountant.  John has received the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the AICPA.  He has been practicing in Marin County since 1979.  He conducts classes and seminars on tax and financial planning issues.  In addition to an array of professional memberships, John serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations including Marin History Museum, MARC, Nova House, Inc. and Stonehaven House, Inc.  John is a native of San Francisco and he and his family are residents of Hawaii.

Title: Fun with QBO Advanced and some QBO integrations.

Description: QBO Advanced has introduced a number of features and capabilities not available in other editions and we shall walk through this functionality in more depth. And per request, we shall take a look at some other integrations into QBO, such as Shopify, PayPal, and anything else of intrigue, time permitting.

Bio. David Glantz is the principal at Business Cents, a 17+ year old business systems consulting practice based in San Anselmo. Business Cents is a long standing QuickBooks Solution Provider/Reseller, Advanced ProAdvisor, retail solutions provider, integrator, and all that jazz. Prior to Business Cents, David had a 20+ year career as a professional services executive for accounting and technology software companies, (Macromedia/Adobe, Pyramid Integration, Flexi International, Ross Systems). David left the comforts of the corporate world to independently pursue his passion of helping companies solve business challenges – and in 2003, Business Cents was born. David has written blogs and articles for various industry publications and is soon launching a series of business oriented tutorials. He has also raised four children and is the loving grandfather of two adorable girls and 1 charming little chap (to-date).
